About Gangotri

It is situated at 3200m from sea level and Gangotri Dham comes second in Yatra. The temple is located at Gamukh, the source of the River Ganga; taking a dip in the holy river, washes away all sins. According to mythology, King Bhagirath did meditation for a long time and after which the Ganga River appeared.

About Kedarnath

About Badrinath

The journey to Char Dham ends at Badrinath temple. Here, Lord Vishnu is worshipped and the temple is located on the banks of the river Alakananda. It is believed Adi Shankaracharya attained salvation here.

 

Know the timing

It is important that before you embark on the journey, you must know the timings of the journey.
